Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant (PPP) has closed down for scheduled repair works, Tengrinews reports citing the press office of the plant.

Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant (PPP) has closed down for scheduled repair works, Tengrinews reports citing the press office of the plant.

During the one-month repairs, production machinery, pipelines, furnaces, electrical substations and the cable system will undergo reconstruction.

According to the press-office, the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant has processed 2.425 million tons of crude oil from Pertosan LLP, Petroleum Operating LLP, Alautransservice LLP, KOR JSC and Sauts-Oil LLP since the beginning of 2014. The plant's storage tanks contain enough of processed oil to continue making shipments on time. The plant will start operating on July 24.

Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant is a branch company of Kazmunaigas Development and Marketing JSC. It is the biggest oil processing plant in Kazakhstan. The plant produces gas, diesel and jet fuel, heating oil, petroleum gas, asphalt, petroleum coke and scrape. Rated capacity of the plant exceeds 7 million tons of oil per year and its oil refining depth is 85 percent.
