Nazarbayev has launched Arystan pipe factory in Stepnogorsk. New factories have been launched as part of the Industrial Forum in Astana today, July 3, Tengrinews.kz reports. Arystan pipe factory is aimed to provide for the drainage in major cities and Astana. The project is unique because it involves production of two-layered corrugated pipes for free-flow and storm drainage system (Korsis line). The company's capacity is 3,900 tons of Korsis pipes with diameters ranging from 110 to 1000mm per year, or 3,120 million tenge ($21 million) per year. "Arystan factory is part of the holding with similar companies in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Considering the capacities launched today, the total capacity of the factory is 30 thousand tons of polyethylene pipes per year," the factory's representative said when presenting it to the President. Two-layered polyethylene pipes are notable for their excellent resistance to aggressive exposure of waste water and loads during installation and exploitation, easy assembly, longevity, as well as excellent quality-to-price ratio. "This is a very important facility for the country and it is good that its' construction has been completed today. I see the company's employees ready to start working. My congratulations! The company is very important. All the people will get highly qualified job. Start up, I approve," President Nursultan Nazarbayev told the company's employees. By Nazymgul Kumyspayeva
