Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev checked on the course of construction of the road junction at the crossing of Sain-Mustafin streets in Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports. "We have launched the subway only has year and people are not used to it yet. The road junctions are on the way. They are meant to unload the city and redure traffic jams. 200 buses have been switched to gas; new trolleys have been bought. All this helps improve the city's ecological situation. We are now looking forward to light-rail trams to have less cars in the city center," Nazarbayev told the journalists after Almaty Akim (Mayor) Akhmetzhan Yessimov introduced a model of constructed junctions to the President. Construction of six major road junctions is currently in process in Almaty: on Al-Farabi – Rozybakiyev, Al-Farabi – Dulati, Sain – Zhumabov, Sain – Toraigyrov, Raiymbek – Momyshuly and Khaliullin – Kuldzhinskiy road. The construction works are going to be fully completed in 2013. Nazarbayev also visited LG Electronics plant in Almaty. Kazakhstan President checked on the prospects of development of the facility. Head of LGEAK Hosop Kong told Nazarbayev of the plans of construction of the new plant that will help increase the production capacities and step up manufacturing of new types of goods. Besides, the President checked the automated line of production of the mother boards and the TV-sets assembly line. In the end of the visit the President signed a 3D LED TV-set made by LG and wished success to the company's new plant in 2013.
