Kazakhstan is ranked 117th (out of 144) in the global rating of roads quality, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the report of the Global Economic Forum. The experts have evaluated the quality of roads in Kazakhstan at 2.7 points out of 7. Russia is ranked 136th, being one of ten countries with the worst roads. Post soviet countries like Kyrgyzstan (2.5), Ukraine (2.3) and Moldova (2.0) have also received low rates. France was tagged the country with the best roads that were evaluated at 6.5 points. It is followed by the UAE and Singapore. Infrastructure of Kazakhstan railroads was evaluated quite high, though. Kazakhstan is ranked 29th in the rating of the countries with the most developed and good-quality railways. Russia is ranked 30th. The top three countries with best railways are Switzerland, Japan and Hong Kong.
