Kazakhstan plans to produce combine harvesters jointly with its Russian partners, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of KazAgroFinance. Management of KazAgroFinance visited the plant of the major Russian producer of agricultural vehicles and equipment Rostselmash in Rostov-on-Don. “The main purpose of the visit was to discuss prospects of joint construction of Vector combine harvester plants in Kazakhstan,” the press-service writes. According to the preliminary information, Kazakhstan's share in the project will make over 20 percent, which will allow it to lower the cost of combine harvesters and significantly update the harvesters fleet in Kazakhstan. Russian experts will visit Kazakhstan in the nearest time to run master classes on technical maintenance of agricultural vehicles both for representatives of KazAgroFinance technical department and for agricultural producers who purchase the equipment abroad through agricultural leasing.
