Joint Kazakhstan-French plant producing high-tech titanium goods for Airbus planes was launched in France during Kazakhstan President’s visit on September 19, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports citing the President’s press-service. The joint company is established between French Aubert et Duval and Ust-Kamenogorsk titanium-magnesium plant. These companies had already launched two joint plants producing commodities for aviation. According to press-service, Nursultan Nazarbayev met with head of Aubert et Duval George Duval to discuss promotion of joint projects. According to French media, UKAD plant is located in Puy-de-Dôme, France. Its area is 48 thousand square meters. Direct investments into the project made 47 million Euro. The plant received a guaranteed order by signing contracts with EADS and Airbus for 1.2 billion Euro until 2020.
