Shows and test drives of agricultural vehicles were made during the exhibition called Zhana Dala-2013 in Akmola oblast, Tengrinews.kz reports. The event was held at the territory of Barayev Grain Farm's R&D Center. Over 20 units of advanced agricultural equipment were presented. Potential buyers were offered test drives and consultations on the vehicles they liked. The exhibition was also attended by representatives of KazAgro, second-tier banks and leasing companies. Representatives of one of foreign producers of agricultural equipment demonstrated technical capacities of their vehicles. They offered visitors to land a ball into a basket using a forklift. The exhibition was participated by 40 companies from different regions of Kazakhstan, CIS and other countries. According to Vice-Minister of Agriculture Muslim Umiryayev, around 80% of the agricultural vehicles used in Kazakhstan are badly worn. “That’s why the Agrobusiness-2020 program focuses on providing state support to stimulate technical modernization in the country. Such field-days are very useful. Agricultural producers have to be able to make an informed choice and find a suitable balance of price and quality, and these events are a perfect place to demonstrate the equipment's technical capacities,” the Vice-Minister said.
