Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a law establishing a trade and logistics complex on the border with Kyrgyzstan.

The head of state signed the law "On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on the Creation and Regulation of the Industrial Trade and Logistics Complex near the Road Checkpoints 'Karasu' and 'Ak-Tilek'."

The text of the law will be published in print.

The complex is set to be located near the Karasu and Ak-Tilek checkpoints and will include production facilities, warehouses for goods and equipment, as well as transportation infrastructure. This development aims to expedite cargo delivery and reduce logistics costs.

The trade and logistics complex will enhance production cooperation in warehousing, storage, processing of products, and the production of new goods for further sales.
