Kantarbayev also commented on the construction of the second stage of the complex that includes a hotel, gym and pool. "We are deciding on the construction and its financing. The money has been partially allocated. These facilities will be probably ready by the Universiade-2017," the speaker said. 1.5 billion tenge ($10 million) have been allocated from the state budget to continue construction of the International Ski Jump Complex.

He also said that the Grand-Prix of the Ski Jump World Cup will be held in September in Kazakhstan. Similar tournaments were held in Almaty last year.
