Where the most couples will get married

According to the state corporation, the largest number of applications came from the country’s three biggest cities:

  • Almaty — 830 applications;
  • Astana — 740 applications;
  • Shymkent — 141 applications.

Why beautiful dates are so popular

Dates with repeating numbers are traditionally in high demand among Kazakhstanis. Many couples believe such numbers will bring family happiness, or simply want their wedding day to be easy to remember.

Due to high demand, future newlyweds are advised not to postpone submitting their application until the last moment. By law, marriage registration takes place at least 15 calendar days after the application is submitted.

For example, if your goal is a beautiful date such as August 26, 2026, you must submit your application strictly by August 11, 2026.

What beautiful dates are still available in 2026

For those who did not manage to choose June 26, other popular dates are still available:

  • July 26, 2026 — Sunday;
  • August 6, 2026 — Thursday;

You can submit an application in the following ways:

  • in person: both partners can visit any civil registry office in the country;
  • online: through the eGov.kz portal;
  • by phone: directly through mobile banking apps in the “Public Services” section.

  • identity cards, including digital documents in the eGov mobile app;
