Eastern and Western Routes of this year's World Harmony Run finished the relay race in Astana, Kazakhstan, for the first time in the 25-y.o. history of the race. Starting the race at UN headquarters in News York in April Its participants ran 23.5 thousand kilometers across Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus. The part across Kazakhstan made 5.5 thousand kilometers. The World Harmony Run is a global torch relay, seeking to strengthen international friendship and understanding. As a symbol of harmony, runners carry a flaming torch, passing it from hand to hand traveling through over 100 nations around the globe.
