Sky's Bradley Wiggins won the yellow jersey of the general classification of Tour de France. Leader of Astana cycling team Janez Brajkovic was ranked 9th. Slovak Peter Sagan won the best sprinter's green jersey. French Thomas Voeckler won the Polka-Dot Jersey and American Tejay Van Garderen became the best young cyclist winning the white jersey.
