Representatives of all Kazakhstan’s regions, winners of their city beauty pageants gathered in Astana. 25 young women contested for the right to wear the crown and Miss Kazakhstan-2012 title and the jury selected 21-y.o. Zhazira Nurimbetova from Shymkent. According to her, the victory was an absolute surprise. 22-y.o. Aliya Mukhanova from Aktobe became first Vice-Miss Kazakhstan and the title of the second Vice-Miss was awarded to 20-y.o. Gulstan Omarova from Astana. 24-y.o.
