The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), one of the largest auto shows in North America, has been opened in Detroit with a renewed optimism as confident carmakers forecast more growth and unveiled powerful new trucks, sexy sports cars and an abundance of luxury. The newest models, many with more horsepower, more aggressive profiles and ever-swankier cockpits are presented at the show. The auto show is being held annually in Detroit since 1907, except 1943-1952. The show gained its international status in 1988. Nissan Sport Sedan. ©Reuters
