Taiwan-born Ang Lee won best director for spectacular 3D fantasy "Life of Pi," while Daniel Day-Lewis won a record third best actor trophy for "Lincoln" and Jennifer Lawrence was crowned best actress for "Silver Linings Playbook." ©REUTERS
