Over 2,000 employees of Kazpost to be involved in People's IPO

Over 2 thousand employees of Kazpost will be involved in implementation of the People's IPO program, Tengrinews.kz reports citing chairman of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund Umirzak Shukeyev as saying at the meeting with the journalists. "The work of Kazpost is being improved to cover the population in all the country's regions. Kazpost will render transfer services and act as a broker in this project. We selected 660 people who will form up awareness groups called to explain the project to the population. They are being trained as well as 2,040 operators of Kazpost. The works are in process to produce audios and videos, posters and printed information leaflets. A detailed plans for placement of promotional materials in the media is being developed as well," Umirzak Shukeyev said. The shares of the first company taking part in the People's IPO will be placed in September-October this year. "It will be followed by KEGOC in the first quarter of 2013." "We are currently talking on changing the methods of setting rates for KEGOC. Otherwise, the company's attractiveness for investors is very low," chairman of Samruk-Kazyna stated. By Aidana Ussupova
