The National Bank of Kazakhstan put into circulation two new commemorative silver coins of 500 and 5 000 tenge nominal value, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the bank's press-service. The coins release was timed to the 20th anniversary of the national currency the Tenge. "The emblem of Kazakhstan in a frame of a quintuple ornamental eight pointed rosace and Kazakhstan National Bank lettering in the state language is depicted in the upper part of the front face (obverse) of the silver proof coin. And the coin's value is depicted in the bottom of the observe," the press-service said. The National Bank also issued a commemorative silver nickel coin of 50 tenge nominal value and commemorative gold proof coin with the nominal value of 100 000 tenge. "Wide depolished mounting is depicted on the edge on the 100 000 nominal value coin. The sigillate lettering Kazakhstan National Bank is written in full-circle on the piping. Parts of the lettering are separated by national ornaments. A triple beads-like ring is depicted inside the depolished mounting. And the central part of the coin is mirror-like," the press-service said.
