Kazakhstan’s content (share of domestically produced goods and services) used in industrial projects for the first 11 months of 2011 exceeded 50%, PM Karim Massimov wrote in his Facebook account.
The major goal of the State-run Program to expand Kazakhstan’s content in 2010-2014 is to spur domestic production of goods and services. Notably, oil and gas companies have increased their bulk purchases of domestically-produced goods and services six fold as compared to 2009.
http://ks.gov.kz, a special web portal to promote Kazakhstan’s content, has been launched by the Government to match producers and consumers of various products and services. The database offers information on 20 000 Kazakhstan-based enterprises.
