Kazakhstan GDP grew 7-fold in 9 years

Kazakhstan’s GDP grew 7-fold during the period from 2002 to 2011: from 3.8 trillion tenge ($25.7 billion) to 27.3 trillion tenge ($186 billion), Vlast business magazine writes citing Kazakhstan Statistics Agency.In average GDP was growing 1.2-1.3 times per year. Last year’s GDP per capita made 1.7 million tenge ($11 thousand), which is 650 percent more than in 2002.
