Karim Massimov will suggest a way out of economic crisis to heads of the governments of CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries, Tengrinews.kz reports. Kazakhstan Prime-Minister told the Parliament about the further actions intended to maintain economic stability at the plenary meeting of Kazakhstan Majilis (lower chamber of Parliamen) on October 13. “The council of the heads of the governments of the CIS member-countries, the Eurasian Union and the Customs Union will be held in Saint-Petersburg next week. I am planning to suggest to our colleagues, mainly from the Customs Union, to think about coordinating our actions to resist the challenges and threats that we are currently facing. But, first of all, we have to do this with Russia, of course, as Russia is our major trade partner and partner in the Customs Union. In my view, there are two key issues. Macroeconomic stability is the first one. And the second issue is support and creation of jobs. These two issues have to be our primary concern. They will prevail in our policy so that all instructions made by the President are fulfilled,” Karim Massimov said. Speaking at the Majilis meeting where 2012-2014 draft budget was discussed, Karim Massimov thanked the parliamentarians for their joint work. “Thanks to instructions made by the President and thanks to our joint activities, the parliament and the government, confirmed economy growth in 9 months has already reached 7%. We can say that the President’s instructions on 7% growth of economy in 2011 will be fulfilled thanks to our coordinated and decisive actions,” Prime-Miniter said.
