Tengrinews.kz - The exchange rate of the dollar established during trading in Kazakhstan on November 1.

According to the results of daily trading on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), the weighted average exchange rate of the dollar was 488.11 tenge, decreasing by 0.12 tenge. It is worth noting that the official exchange rate set by the National Bank for November 1 is 488.26 tenge per dollar.

According to kurs.kz, the current average purchase rate of the dollar in exchange offices in Almaty is 487.95 tenge, and the selling rate is 489.54 tenge. In exchange offices in Astana, the American currency is purchased at an average rate of 487.01 tenge and sold at 491.98 tenge.

Earlier, Chairman of Kazakhstan’s National Bank, Timur Suleimenov, commented on the tenge's volatility, advising a shift in focus away from the dollar. Suleimenov explained that currency fluctuations are a constant factor.
