BTA Bank started negotiations over restructuring of its debts

BTA Bank started negotiations on the second restructuring of its debts, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the bank's press-service."BTA Bank announces the beginning of the official negotiations with the creditors commission over the suggested restructuring of a part of its debts. In the meetings held on June 12 and 13 in London the bank's consultants submitted a preliminary suggestion on restructuring to the creditors commission and its consultants," the bank's press-service states. According to the message, BTA is expecting the arrival of the creditors commission in Almaty for a meeting to discuss results of the due diligence next week. The bank "plans are to achieve a significant progress in the negotiations on the main restructuring terms within the next two weeks," the press-service writes.
