According to the outlet, Momika was streaming live on TikTok when he was killed. His body was found last night at his home in a Stockholm suburb. Today, he was due to receive a court verdict on charges of inciting hatred.

Momika had previously burned the Quran in public on several occasions, sparking protests from Muslims worldwide. In Iraq, a $2 million reward was reportedly offered for his killing.

Swedish police have arrested five suspects in connection with the murder. Aftonbladet reports that Sweden’s security police, responsible for counterintelligence, counterterrorism, and constitutional protection, have joined the investigation.
