Opposition groups have gathered near Vake Park, the Georgian Football Federation building, and the Marjanishvili metro station. They intend to head to the parliament building.
The leaders of the opposition movement have announced an indefinite protest, declaring their readiness for peaceful resistance. The protesters are setting up tents and preparing for a long protest.
Earlier, the current President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili did not recognize the results of the parliamentary elections and called on residents of the country to protest against the victory of the Georgian Dream party.
Moreover, the Georgian Prosecutor's Office has initiated an investigation into alleged fraud in the country's recent parliamentary elections.
