Denton, situated on the Stockport to Stalybridge line, sees only one train a week - departing on Fridays at 9:32 am. Known as the "Denton Flyer," this route reaches Stalybridge in just 11 minutes, and passengers must signal the train to stop at Denton. According to reports, only 34 passengers used the station last year.
Elton & Orston in Nottinghamshire ranks second, with just 56 passengers annually. The East Midlands Railway service stops here once a day in each direction, connecting to Nottingham in 48 minutes or reaching Skegness in under two hours.
Third on the list is Kirton Lindsey in Lincolnshire, which recorded 94 passengers a year. The Northern Rail station operates two trains daily, connecting Sheffield and Cleethorpes.
