Exciting footage has been shared on the organization's official Instagram page.
“During a scheduled patrol, the park's protection department staff observed the predator within the boundaries of Altyn-Emel National Park,” the park stated in its post.
The national park reminded that the lynx is a predatory animal belonging to the class of mammals, the family of felines, and the order of carnivores. The species has been listed in the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and has been included in the Red Book of Kazakhstan in 2010. The lynx is commonly found in coniferous and broadleaf forests in mountainous valleys.
