Biting colds are expected in Kazakhstan by the end of this week, Tengrinews reports citing KazHydroMet.
"Frosts will come to Kazakhstan already this weekend. It is expected that in the north, east and center of Kazakhstan temperatures will drop to 40 degrees Centigrade below zero," the meteorologists said.
KazHydroMet also noted that temperatures are expected to fall to 25-30 degrees Centigrade below zero in the West of the country and to -25 degrees Centigrade on the South.
Earlier, the weather agency said cold airs from the Arctic seas of Russia were approaching Kazakhstan.
