What the resort says
The resort’s press office provided the original video and commented on the rare encounter.
The mountain goat was spotted on September 23 at around 4:00 p.m. at the Talgar Pass (3,200 meters).
"Yes, it was a mountain goat, a resident of the Tien Shan. We saw it on September 23 near the Talgar Pass. They usually live in the highlands and thrive on rocks and steep slopes. Normally, they stay higher up, but with colder weather and snow, they may descend below 3,000 meters in search of food. Encounters with humans are quite rare," the resort’s press service explained.
