Tengrinews.kz – Renowned Kazakhstani photographer Dmitriy Dotsenko has captured the enchanting beauty of Almaty’s golden autumn, sparking admiration across social media.
Dotsenko shared the photos on his Instagram account, writing:
“Gold is everywhere! Almaty autumn – 2025. These are the most beautiful days of the year. This fall is just perfect.”
His post quickly went viral, collecting over four hundred comments from users who praised the city’s dazzling autumn scenery.

Speaking to Tengrinews, Dotsenko said he chose his shooting locations intuitively.
“I walked through parks, alleys, and courtyards, noting places where the yellow leaves looked the most beautiful. This year the colors are exceptional — the weather cooled down without rain or wind, so the golden leaves have stayed bright longer. The whole city is bathed in warm light,” he explained.
Over the weekend, many Almaty residents also shared their own autumn shots on Instagram and Threads. According to Dotsenko, the city’s most scenic spots were crowded with photographers, but that only added to the atmosphere.
“It’s nice to see people noticing the beauty around them,” he added. “There’s always a new angle to find — and if you come early, even the most popular places are peaceful.”
