The remains of two more people have been discovered at Argkankergen frontier post, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of the frontier service of Kazakhstan National Security Commission. “Two more corpses have been discovered at the accident site at Argkankergen frontier post. The total number of the victims is 14 militarymen and 1 gamekeeper of the nearby hunting farm. Frontier service, national security authorities and the interior department continue the investigation and search operation,” the message states. According to the frontier service, the remains of the bodies were delivered to Astana for DNA tests. The investigation group is working out different versions of the incident. “The frontier service is rendering aide and moral support to the families and friends of the militarymen who have served at the frontier post. They will be provided with an opportunity to arrive to Astana for the DNA test,” the frontier service stated. Earlier the frontier service of Kazakhstan National Security Commission stated that burnt remains of 13 people were discovered at Argkankergen frontier post in Almaty oblast on May 30. They also included the body of the gamekeeper of the hunting farm located near the post. Their weapons were discovered later. A criminal case has been initiated on the murder of the militarymen in Almaty oblast.
