Residents of Almaty area located between Kazybek bi – Zhibek zholy and Furmanov-Abylai khan streets have been left without cold water because of a pipeline breakage, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Almaty Su Holding (Almaty water supplier).
According to the company, a 200mm pipe has sprung a massive leak. 10 employees of Su Zhelesy and 3 vehicles have been working at the accident site since 09:00 a.m. today. The press-service says that the accident will be eliminated during the day. Almaty Su is apologizing for the inconveniences.
