The International Aviation Commission and the manufacturer of the CRJ-200 that crashed near Almaty are checking the board recorders, Kazakhstan Today writes. Kazakhstan General Prosecutor Askhat Daulbayev has announced that the analysis of the information received from the black boxes of the CRJ-200 airplane owned by SCAT airlines had not discovered any failures of the board devices at that point. "We are performing our own investigation. Our experts are analyzing the information from the board recorders. Currently we don't see any signs that would certify there was a failure of any of the plane's instruments," Daulbayev said. On January 29 a Bombardier airplane owned by Scat airline crashed 7km from Almaty airport during its second attempt to land. According to the prosecutors, the plane was performing a Kokshetau-Almaty flight. The accident claimed lives of 5 crew members and 16 passengers including a 2-year-old boy.
