Tengrinews.kz - The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan has provided an update on the situation involving a Japanese citizen who was urgently hospitalized in one of Astana's clinics.

According to the Japanese embassy in Kazakhstan, the citizen has safely returned home.

"I am honored to report that Japanese citizen Tada Junichi, who was urgently hospitalized at the City Multi-Profile Hospital No. 2 in Astana due to a stroke that occurred on August 17 during a flight over Kazakhstan, has successfully returned to Japan," stated a letter of gratitude from the embassy.

The embassy noted that the positive outcome was the result of appropriate actions taken by the Kazakh ministry.

As a reminder, a Swiss flight made an emergency landing in Astana due to the health issues of one of its passengers. The Japanese citizen suffered a stroke and was admitted to intensive care.
