Four explosions happened in the center of Taraz city in the south of Kazakhstan, KazTAG reports. “Today there were 4 explosions in the center of Taraz city,” a source from Kazakhstan law enforcement authorities has confirmed . He said that all the “security forces are on high alert, the center is cordoned.” Witnesses say that there was “shooting form moving cars.” No more details of the tragedy are known yet. Interior Department promised to make a statement in the nearest time. The Procurators Office is also preparing a statement and has scheduled a press-conference for the end of day today. Earlier today it was reported that an explosions shook the crossing of Abay and Kazybek Bi streets near the regional administration building. According to unofficial information three people were killed in the blast, including one police officer. According to Interfax-Kazakhstan an investigation group, officers of the National Security Committee and representatives of the Procurator’s Office are working at the site.
