The bodies of 15 militarymen were found at Gorny frontier post in Almaty oblast: 1 officer, 3 contractors and 11 soldiers, KazTAG reports citing the source. According to the source, the mobile post is normally installed in summer for prevention of illegal gathering of medicinal herbs. Citizens from the neighboring China have been apprehended several times for such actions. The body of a forest guard was discovered in the gamekeeper’s house close to the post. According to the preliminary information, the man was murdered 2 days ago. The source said that Gorny mobile post failed to establish contact and report at the scheduled time and that got the command office to dispatch a team to the post to investigate. Upon arrival to the post on May 30 the team discovered the bodies of the militarymen all piled in one place. A possible reason of the deadly incident could be either an attack on the post or a military hazing. There has been no reports on any of their weapons being stolen. Kazakhstan National Security Committee has given no details of the incident.
