Canadian experts will take part in the investigation of the CRJ-200 plane crash near Almaty that claimed 21 lives, RIA Novosti reports citing Canadian Transportation Safety Board (TSB).

The expert team will include three representatives of Bombardier aircraft manufacturer from Canada and TSB representative Denis Deroy who will be leadiung the team.

The Canadian CRJ-200 made in 2000 crashed in the area of Kyzyltu village near Almaty airport in the south of Kazakhstan on January 29. The crash claimed lives of 5 crew members and 16 passengers, including 1 child. The board recorder was found and sent to Moscow for decoding.

The Canadian experts also believe that the bad weather near Almaty airport is one of the most likely causes of the plane crash. Earlier the press-service of Kazakhstan Main Transport Prosecutor’s office declared that the reasons of the crash could include a human factor or a technical failure.
