Kazakhstan Minister of Education and Science Bakytzhan Zhumagulov applied to his colleagues in EurAsEC countries to solve the issue of acknowledgement of Kazakhstan diplomas (education certificates) in other countries, KazTAG reports. “I think that integration in Eurasian education space requires solving a range of problems related to acknowledgement and equivalency of education documents,” Zhumagulov said at the 20th meeting of the Education Council of EurAsEC Integration Commission. Minister explained that the issue of acknowledgement of Kazakhstan diplomas in other EurAsEC countries, as well as diplomas of foreign universities in our country have to be resolved in the nearest time. “It is impossible to develop students and professors exchange without it,” he said. Russian Minister of Education Andrey Fursenko emphasized advantages of such exchange at the territory of EurAsEC. “We have a huge advantage: there is no language barrier. There is one Russian language and we have to use it. This is our certain advantage,” Fursenko said. According to him, it is necessary not only to provide physical opportunities for students and professors to move to another country, but also solve legal problems. If a student was educated in another country, it is important that all his knowledge is considered and added into a diploma,” Russian Education Minister said. He noted that this is not about unification of education programs yet. “We coordinate Mathematics program with our colleagues. English language is the same everywhere. Of course there every country has its own features in education programs, I am not talking about unification. We are talking about a closer interaction, so that we have common basics,” Fursenko added.
