Samruk Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund will form a personnel reserve of school and university students from those who get into the final of the Innovative Kazakhstan competition, KazTAG reports citing press-service of the Fund. “As for school and university students who made it to the final of the contest, the Fund is ready to consider including them into the personnel reserve and offer summer internships in one of its affiliated companies,” the press-release states. Besides, the press-release states that 10 finalists, including 2 winners of the national ideas competition for young people called Innovative Kazakhstan will be hired by the group of companies of Samruk Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund as per their qualification and background. “I think any company needs new stream, open-minded view, generators and conductors of breakthrough ideas these days,” the press-service cited director of HR department of Samruk Kazyna Gulmira Raissova. The applications submission process started on September 7 and will finish on December 1. The results will be announced by the end of 2011. The contest is held in over 150 educational facilities in Kazakhstan. The Fund received over 80 application in 2 weeks after the launch. Samruk Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund was established by Kazakhstan President in October 2008 via a merge of Kazyna Sustainable Development Fund and Samruk State Assets Management Holding.
