The majority of Kazakhstan school graduates choose technical majors, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Director of Pre-school and School Education of Kazakhstan Ministry of Education and Science Zhanyl Zhontayeva. Speaking of the university majors preferred by school graduates, she said that young people tended to choosing technical majors. According to her, 163,845 students will finish school this year. Over 5 thousand of them are candidates for Altyn Belgi (Gold Medal) award. Over 121 thousand students will take the common national test this year.
