Kazakhstan schoolchildren won 12 medals in the 6th International Olympiad of Junior Scientists and Inventors that was held in Tbilisi, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Interfax-Kazakhstan. 24 Kazakhstan schoolchildren from Kazakh-Turkey Lyceums of Almaty, Astana and other regions took part in the Olympiad along with schoolchildren from 30 other countries of the world. “The competitions were held in Mathematics, Biology, Physics, New Computer Technologies and New Inventions. Kazakhstan schoolchildren won five bronze, five silver and two gold medals. Young Kazakhstan residents Adikhan Ayan and Marat Kakimzhanov won the first places in Mathematics and Biology competitions,” the press-release reads. Chaglar Nikoloz Tsereteli International School was the organizer of the event. The school was established in 2006 and now has seven schools and Black Sea State University in Georgia.
