Snake slithers into private home in Astana - video

Tengrinews.kz — A snake slithered into a private residence on Besshatyr Lane in the Saryarka district of the capital. The homeowners called emergency services.

Using specialized equipment, emergency responders captured the reptile. The snake was subsequently released back into the wild, away from residential areas.

Experts warn that if you discover a snake in your home or yard, you should not attempt to catch it yourself. Maintain a safe distance and immediately report the sighting by calling 112.

Rescuers captured the incident on video. The snake appeared to be a common grass snake.
