TV and radio to be switched off across Kazakhstan: date and time announced

According to Kazteleradio JSC, maintenance work is scheduled for July 22, 2026. On that day, broadcasting of television channels and radio stations will be temporarily suspended from 3:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The shutdown will affect satellite, digital terrestrial and analog television networks, as well as radio broadcasting throughout Kazakhstan. During this period, users may not have access to TV channels and radio stations.

Kazteleradio JSC noted that the work is being carried out as planned.

“These works are necessary to ensure stable and high-quality broadcasting in the future,” the company emphasized.

After the maintenance work is completed, television and radio broadcasting will resume as usual. The company also apologized to viewers and listeners for the temporary inconvenience.
