The police has finally identified the owner of the illegal twin white Mazda CX7 with fake plates, Tengrinews reports referring to the press-service of the Internal Affairs Department of Astana.
"Officers of the Internal Affairs Department of Astana have arrested the 40-y.o. man, born in East Kazakhstan Oblast. He bought and drove the car in Kazakhstan, knowing that it was stolen," the press-service said.
A criminal case was initiated against him for Knowing obtaining or selling property acquired illegally.
Last week the owner of an absolutely identical car, but a legal one, spotted the twin in Astana - the twin was bearing the same plates as his white Mazda CX7. He reported it to the police. And it was discovered that the car was stolen in Moscow, Russia and illegally brought to Kazakhstan.
