Terrorists may be behind murder of Almaty policemen

Almaty police does not exclude the ersion of terrorists being behind the murders of two patrol policemen, KazTAG reports citing Almaty police department. “The shots were made from 9-mm gun, supposedly Makarov handgun. Terrorist attack version is not excluded,” law-enforcement authorities noted. Police did not reply whether the officers were on duty or not. According to the authorities, passers-by informed the 102 (police) service’s operators on duty about injured officers discovered on Raiymbek street between Momyshuly and Sain streets at 8:20 p.m. “Sergeant Maksat Dabylov died immediately and his colleague sergeant Galymzhan Abdirov died in the ambulance car,” police stated. “Policemen had at least five wounds. One of them had three and the other one had two wounds,” law-enforcement authorities said. “Sirena” plan is announced in the city, enhanced patrolling of the streets is in place. Police is searching for Mitsubishi Delica that was supposedly used by the criminals.
