Kyrgyzstan Interior Ministry confuted the information that RPG-26 grenade launcher used for the terrorist attacks in Taraz was brought to Kazakhstan from Kyrgyzstan, AKIpress reports. “The information spread by some media with a reference to some Kazakhstan officials regarding the possibility of the suicide bomber byuing RPG-26 grenade launcher used during recent terrorist attacks in Taraz from Kyrgyzstan is not confirmed,” Ministry's message states. Earlier deputy head of investigation department of Interior Department of Zhambyl oblast Marat Kozhayev said that Taraz suicide bomber could have bought the grenade launcher in Kyrgyzstan. “It could have been brought from Kyrgyzstan. I cannot make any statements yet, this is just an assumption,” Kozhayev said. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that the terrorist attack happened in Taraz on November 12. 7 people fell victims to the crime, five of them were police officers. The criminal blew himself up during apprehension.
