"It has been established that from 2022 to the present, the mentioned criminal organization obtained full guardianship rights over children from socially vulnerable families in Kyrgyzstan through various manipulations, bribery, and violations of Kyrgyz legislation. As a result of special investigative and operational actions, and search activities conducted on September 20 of this year, the involved individuals have been detained and placed in the pre-trial detention center of the State Committee on National Security," the committee said.

Investigative and operational measures are ongoing to identify other members of the criminal organization, victims of its illegal activities, and individuals providing assistance in criminal activities.

Earlier, 15 criminal cases have been registered in Kazakhstan concerning human organ trafficking. This was reported at a briefing by Shynar Kosherbaeva, Deputy Head of the third division of the department for combating organized crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
