People who knew Rakhimzhan Makatov who blew himself up in Aktobe National Security Commission Department do not understand why he did this, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports.
“Rakhimzhan was educated, well-mannered and intelligent. People respected him. A few years ago he got married and after that hurled himself into religion,” Makatov's neighbors said.
Meanwhile, Interfax-Kazakhstan reported citing law-enforcing authorities that Makatov had no previous convictions, but was registered as a member of an organized criminal group.
Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that Tuesday morning Makatov blew a self-made bomb in Aktobe National Security Commission Department building. The bomber died injuring two people injured.
