Over 100 kg of explosives seized in Kazakhstan in four days

Over 100 kg of explosives have been seized in Kazakhstan in four days, Tengrinews.kz reports citing official representative of Kazakhstan Interior Ministry Nurdilda Oraz as saying on November 23. “A special operation was held in Kazakhstan on November 14-18. 2 automatic guns, 8 shotguns, 4 shoulder arms, 8 sawed-off shotguns, 2 clips (AK-47), 1 grenade, 128 kg of ammonite explosives, 298 bullets,” Oraz said. “One leader and 20 participants of organized criminal groups, as well as 10 mafia bosses were apprehended and brought to criminal responsibility,” Ministry representative said about results of preventive activities to root out criminal groups activities, neutralize leaders and active members and bring them to criminal responsibility.
