Tengrinews.kz - The National Security Committee Department of Almaty region, in coordination with the prosecutor's office, has shut down an underground laboratory producing synthetic drugs.
A Kazakhstani citizen was detained and taken into custody while manufacturing narcotic substances.
Around 5 kilograms of finished product, 350 liters of liquid psychotropic substance a-PVP, 800 liters of precursors, and laboratory equipment for drug production were seized from the laboratory.
An investigation is being conducted against the detainee under Part 3 of Article 297 of the Criminal Code, "Illegal manufacturing, processing, acquisition, storage, transportation for the purpose of sale, shipment, or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogs."
Earlier, cigarettes hidden in cabbage were attempted to be smuggled out of Kazakhstan.
