Tengrinews.kz - A man has reportedly stabbed his pregnant wife in front of a crowd in the Mangistau region. Disturbing footage from the scene has surfaced on social media.
The video shows a woman lying in a pool of blood in front of a shop, while a group of onlookers gathers around. The man can be seen shouting at the crowd.

Doctors reported that the 24-year-old woman was ten weeks pregnant at the time of the incident.
"The victim was examined by on-call surgeons, a traumatologist, and an intensive care physician, and was urgently taken to the operating room. The preliminary diagnosis includes penetrating stab wounds to the abdominal wall and left side of the chest," the hospital stated.
The woman is currently in intensive care. Attacker has been apprehended.
"The man has been detained and placed in a temporary detention center. A criminal case has been opened for attempted murder. Further information is not being disclosed in the interests of the investigation," the regional police department informed.
